Web Project Preparation

Just as reminder for myself: What do I have to take care of, when preparing an project including writing an offer.

• » Define exact project specs
• » Define project specs you are definitely are not going to hit
• » Do risk analysis – what can go wrong
• » Do my have enough buffers for unexpected issues
• » Is my quality control in place?

Regarding risks – I should think about

• » Which functionalit might be tricky?
• » Am I sure I understood, what my customers expecations are?
• » Are there issues arising, which will be downsize the availble HRs? Could that change?
• » How about your customer? Might there be a risk in communication?

Furthermore regarding technical risks: evaluate the risk for creating the layout (HTML & co.) and regarding tricky functionalites. Identify complex interactive processes and define a solution to handle them appropriately.
