For all out there who are having rewrite/.htaccess problems with the combination apache2, debian 3.1, mod_rewrite and where the installation has not it’s own virtual host but is installed in a subdirectory: you might want to use this modified .htaccess-file if you have some trouble get symfony running.

Remember to change the BaseDir inside the file!
